However Tom was kind enough to send me the audio so I can share it with you! I answered quite a few questions on parrot behavior problems. I have posted the audio on my blog.

EVENT - Back at "First Monday"

Fly with Birdlink next Saturday and Sunday at Weatherford's 1st Monday, and see a variety of different birds as we educate and show them to visitors. Birdlink will be set up in their very own nest in the new Animals' Center - just look for all the shiny new buildings in the back! Pictures with birds, goats, and other animals are being taken, so children are welcome and encouraged!

EVENT - Arlington Animal Event

Fly with us this Saturday at an animal event in Arlington! A day filled with "ANIMALS, EDUCATION, and OUTREACH" is always enticing to the Sanctuary, and we are proud to join all kinds of other animal rehabilitations and rescues at the Floor & Decor Outlet of Arlington. Birdlink will have a booth, and will bring our ever-willing flock of birds to show and educate about what we do. Large tents will be set up, so in rain or shine, Birdlink would love to see you this Saturday! The event will be held in Arlington at the "Floor & Decor Outlet", from 12PM to 4PM. See you there!

Parrot Training

Hi Jean,

I just wanted to let you know about some of my upcoming parrot training events for 2012. I don't have all the details on everything just yet, but I wanted to send you a note so you can "save the date" in case you might be able to attend one. If you are hoping for an event in your area and don't see one listed, all it takes is a willing host and an available date. Send me an email if you are interested in hosting information. Hope to see you in 2012!

2012 EVENTS SO FAR.....

First Monday Bird Exhibit

The City of Weatherford stopped having animals at the First Monday Grounds several years ago. This past weekend the animals were back. Not just "back" but Back with Style. The new Ranch and Farm area is beautiful! The design is spacious and well thought out. Part of the master plan is the Bird Exhibit.

Bird Video

I have watched this video many times and still love it. It is of the wild parrots of Australia. Our ambassador, Umbrella Cockatoo Poppy's relatives, can be seen in mass. The relatives of the eight eclectus, we just rescued, can be see as they should live, wild. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do.
